The
role of Concert Coordinator
- Prime liaison with concert
venue on day of performance
- Liaises with Musical
Director to identify all musical facility requirements for a
concert performance
- Co-ordinates with General
Secretary on all booking requirements for venue and venue facilities
- Defines seating plan
for choir, soloists, conductor and, where required, for orchestra
- Ensures sufficient seating
(including any tiered staging), changing areas and other facilities
as required available at venue
- Ensures all requested
and required equipment and support materials are available at
venue
- Keeps written or electronic
log of all requests made to venue
- Determines and agrees
access times with venue and Musical Director
- Devises choreography
and timings for getting all performers on and off stage
- Responsible for well-being
of conductor and soloists on day of performance
- In conjunction with
Chairman/Vice Chairman, responsible for the well-being of any
VIPs on day of performance
- Overall responsibility
for Front of House operations and any interval refreshment arrangements
on day of performance
