The
role of Marketing & Publicity Officer
- Has overall responsibility
for all publicity, marketing and ticket sales activities
- Liaison and contact
with venues for all such activities leading up to a concert performance
- Leads the design of
all appropriate publicity material and responsible for all related
activities for each performance including all posters/flyers,
concert programmes, tickets, internet content or other broadcast
opportunities
- Manages box office activities
- internal and/or third party - and all ticket sales
- Ensures all monies received
in exchange for the purchase of tickets and programmes is accounted
for and passed to the Treasurer
- Ensures all printed
material (publicity, programmes, tickets) is published and delivered
within the required timescales as set either by the choir's own
schedule or that of the venue
- Devises and designs
all other publicity and marketing material including (but not
limited to) the full music season brochure and recruitment campaigns
- Liaises with Box Office
to produce a list of ticket defaulters after each concert and
oversees appropriate follow-up
