Gateway Studios/Kingston University - Kingston Hill

We are aiming for a 10:00am start on this, please, with a finish time somewhere between 16:30-17:00.  The main full sessions will be held in the Gateway Studios on Kingston Hill, which are associated with Kingston University's School of Music.  Public transport to this venue is rather limited and bus is really your only option; there is a bus stop right outside the entrance to the University's campus.  If you are driving then please park in the main car park and walk over to the studio.  There is also a smaller car park up behind the studio.

If you are driving from Wimbledon then go down the A3 (marked (A) on the map to the left) and turn off towards Kingston at the Robin Hood roundabout. The entrance to the campus is half way up the hill on the left (shown as (B)).  As you enter, take the right fork which will lead you round to the car park (shown as (P) below). Gateway Studio and the School of Music are marked on the map as Coombe Martin below-left of the car park. Two buses go past the campus and they are the 85 and the K3.  The 85 is best picked up from Putney Heath - Green Man pub (see C on the map above). Buses that go via Putney Heath include the 170 from Clapham and the 93 & 493 from Wimbledon.  Two alternate ways are to take (a) the 57 bus from Wimbledon to Kingston Hospital or (b) the train to Norbiton station next to Kingston Hospital and then take the K3 bus back towards Roehampton Vale.
