Links to Other Sites and Information

Wimbledon Choral Society cannot be held responsible for the content of any of the following external sites.   The links are provided here in good faith and in the belief that the contents are of a suitable and appropriate nature and are accurate.
British Choirs on the Net - an excellent site with links to a great many other choir websites This is a splendid site listing all those choirs known in the UK which have websites or email contacts.   It also has a whole lot more and is certainly worth a visit.   Click on the logo on the left to visit the site from here.
This is a site which has listings of classical music concerts across the UK.   It is very well designed, simple to use and also contains other useful information beyond just the concert lists.  Click on the logo to visit the site.

We are also listed in concert-diary.com, the listings site used by Classic FM and other websites with a classical leaning.  There are many items for concerts and venues outside of the UK as well.   Definitely a website to browse for all that is great in classical music performances.   See the links on the Concerts page to see our entries in concert-diary.com.
www.wherecanwego.com is a rapidly expanding website that answers that very question.   It is loaded with events of all types including concerts, amongst which you'll find ours.   Click on the logo to visit the website.

Logo of the New Queen's Hall Orchestra. Click here to visit the NQHO website.
The New Queen's Hall Orchestra does not see itself as a "period" orchestra but rather as a collection of talented musicians, drawn mainly from the major London orchestras, who are encouraged to express themselves with appropriate instruments for the music they play which match almost exactly the sounds as would have been heard by the composers themselves.   We are delighted to be associated with this fine orchestra which deserves considerably more recognition and support from the various arts institutions of this country than it gets.
Click here to visit Astounding Sound's website
We recommend Astounding Sounds to record your concerts.   Please contact recording engineer Jonathan Haskell on 01525 222842 or email him at jh@astoundingsounds.co.uk for further details.
