The season runs from September to June and consists typically of three main concerts in major venues in and around London and a local Christmas concert in the Wimbledon area. As well as promoting its own concerts, the choir is invited occasionally to participate in other events with several of Britain’s leading orchestras and in collaboration with other choirs.
The 2023/24 season began on Monday 4th September. The planned schedule of rehearsala and events is available via the Quick Links section to the left. See our Join Us page for further details of when potential new members normally would be welcome to come along. The first two rehearsals in September and January are designated as 'open' and anyone who would like to have a taster of what it would be like to sing with this large, friendly choir is very welcome to come along.
The previous season saw the choir bounce back from the two-year hiatus of Covid, finishing off with a joyous performance of Will Todd's Jazz Missa Brevis and Passion Music in Southwark Cathedral, with Will Todd and his jazz ensemble accompanying us. The season also included an outstanding performance of Bach's mighty St John Passion to a full house in the same venue.
This season started with the Verdi Requiem in a newly adapted version by Richard Blackford. Further details on the event page for this concert. The venue was the impressive Holy Trinity Church, just off Sloane Square in SW1. After Christmas, the next concert will be in March in Cadogan Hall with a performance of the Faure Requiem and also Blackford's acclaimed Mirror of Perfection. The summer concert sees us back in Holy Trinity with a programme full of music on a theme of Reflections & Inspirations. Something old, something new, something nearly new, something large, something small, something familiar, something not familiar, something meaty, something delicate. Something for everyone. Keep an eye out for when tickets go on sale. You'll see the 'Book Here' option become available.
In early July 2023, many members of the choir participated in a performance of Vaughan Williams' magnificent A Sea Symphony, supporting Barts Choir in the Royal Albert Hall, in commeroration of the 900th anniversary of St Bartholomew's Hospital.

I understand that it is very helpful gadgets, but I prefer beautiful design than smartwatch . If you are in the same situation,I recommend you to Buy Replica Rolex Watches. I also didn't believe that replica can be high-quality, when my wife offers me to order it. But when we got it we were shocked. These watches are made in Japan only from Scratch-proof sapphire crystal and are totally waterproof. On their website you can choose your watches and even read news of Rolex world. think that it is a very valuable offer.
The choir also supports the locally organised Merton SingFest - a collaboration of locally-based choirs in the Merton area and the Merton Music Foundation.
