Drake House (Wimbledon Guild)

Drake House forms part of the facilities of the local community charity, Wimbledon Guild.   It was, for many years, our rehearsal venue before we relocated to the larger space offered by St Mark's Church.

How to get to the venue

Drake House is along St George's Road, one of the four roads that meet at the main crossroads just outside Wimbledon Station.   Go along St George's Road until it does a 90 degree turn to the right.   At this point, the tarmaced road becomes Francis Grove.   However, St George's Road itself continues in a straight line and Drake House is to be found on the other side of the bollards in the residential part of the road.   If you are arriving by car then this can be accessed via Francis Grove, Worple Road then Tabor Grove.   See the link to the map.   However, available space is very limited and you would be best advised to arrive or park as you would normally do for a rehearsal in St Mark's and walk the short distance between the two.
